Abstract

For countless years, the theories of learning have developed, they aim to explain the mechanisms by which the individual formulates his knowledge and develops his skills. Psychologists conducted studies to see results and adopted them. Over time, human behavior evolves in full correlation with the external environment. Currently, the world is experiencing the outbreak of the new coronavirus Covid-19 which has radically changed habits, it has pushed natural and legal persons to adopt new methods, such as distance education. This is why we opted to study this subject in a Moroccan context with specific characteristics compared to the Western context, for example in terms of teaching methods and the degree of openness to information technologies.

The aim of this study is to explore the shift towards distance learning, the benefits that stakeholders, including teachers, have identified, the obstacles they have encountered, and the challenges that need to be addressed. point to achieve more optimization and performance of the Moroccan university in distance education.
